Using Mellovi

Mellovi helps users manage plant profiles, receive care reminders, save plant journal notes and photos, track growth photos, and sync plant data through user accounts. By using Mellovi, you agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You may need to create an account or sign in with an available provider, such as Google, to use some features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it.

Subscriptions, billing, and free trials

• Mellovi may offer free features, paid subscriptions, and optional free trials.
• If you begin a free trial, your access may automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends, subject to the rules of the applicable app store or billing platform.
• Subscription pricing, billing intervals, and included features may be shown in the app before purchase.
• Payments are generally processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized billing provider, not directly by Mellovi.

Cancellation and restore purchases

• You can usually manage or cancel subscriptions through the app store account used for purchase.
• Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.
• If Mellovi offers a restore-purchases feature, it is provided so you can recover eligible subscription access tied to your billing account.
• Refunds, if any, are handled under the policies of the billing platform that processed the purchase.

User-generated content

You may upload or create content in Mellovi, including plant profiles, care logs, journal notes, plant photos, and growth photos. You keep ownership of your content, but you give the operator of Mellovi a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate and improve Mellovi.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to upload the content you submit and that your content does not violate the law or the rights of others.

AI analysis limitations

Mellovi may offer optional AI-based plant growth analysis or related features. These features are provided for informational and convenience purposes only. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not appropriate for every plant or condition.

No guarantee of plant health outcomes

Mellovi provides organization, reminders, recordkeeping, and optional insights. We do not guarantee that using the app will improve plant health, prevent plant loss, diagnose plant issues, or produce any particular outcome.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful content.
• Do not use Mellovi to violate the rights of others or to bypass security or billing systems.
• Do not reverse engineer the service except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Mellovi if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, or where we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the service at any time, and you may request account deletion using the options described on the Delete Account page.

Disclaimers

Mellovi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Mellovi and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or plant-related outcomes arising from or related to your use of Mellovi.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to Mellovi will not exceed the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50) if you have not paid anything, whichever is greater.

Changes to the service or terms

We may update Mellovi or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date and provide notice as required by law.
